Tapping Tree

Welcome to the Tapping Tree. I am adding new material all the time. With access, you receive not only what is presently available but also additional tapping scripts and audios as they come online. If you don’t find what you are looking for here, please drop me a note and I will do my best to add it. The Tapping Tree supports you in identifying your tapping targets. You can create a tapping tree on any particular issue in your life. For that issue, you identify the symptoms or side effects, the emotions, the events, and the limiting beliefs.

The Leaves (Symptoms/Side effects)

This might include things such as physical pain and self-sabotage. Body-related issues include weight, skin, addiction. Self-sabotage might include clutter, procrastination, and finance. These are expressions of a deeper issue and exploration allows you to hone in on it.

The Branches (Emotions)

Some negative emotions are easily recognized such as anger and some are more subtle in their expression such as doubt. Tuning into the more nebulous ones allows you to expand your range of emotional awareness and understanding. They all bring a sense of contraction and have power because they activate broadly. There might be multiple emotions related to an issue. So, it is useful to tap on the most predominant emotion occurring at any one time.

The Trunk (Events)

When we do not process an event emotionally, energetically, and/or physically, it creates continued pain. This could be a breakup, accident, abuse, or disaster that created trauma because it was beyond your coping skills at the time it occurred. Tapping can release this so that recall is neutral and objective and does not feel like you are reliving the experience.

The Roots (Limiting Beliefs)

Limiting beliefs are acquired through our experiences. They are often tied to our capabilities or possibilities in the world at large. Most are learned through social conditioning. This might be what others tell us, or what we perceive, or even situations where we were rewarded or punished.
